Rihm Family Companies (including Rihm Kenworth and Rihm Leasing) has named JB Rihm its Chief Operating Officer.

“JB Rihm, named after our founder and his great-grandfather, has earned his promotion to Chief Operating Officer after nearly 11 years of working in various capacities at Rihm Kenworth and truly embracing the dealership business model, innovating new ways to approach business management through technology and educating the workforce on best practices,” CEO & President Kari Rihm said.

“JB has taken his responsibility seriously to help grow the family business alongside me over the past decade,” said Kari, “improving our performance and safeguarding the opportunity to one day become a fourth-generation owner of Rihm Kenworth and Rihm Family Companies. I’m certain his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather would be proud of him, as his sister Libby and I are, for his passion for the business and industry, for his persistence, vision, and commitment to continuous improvement of all dealership operations.”

As Chief Operating Officer, JB is responsible for evaluating existing and emerging technologies that enhance or improve fixed, variable, and administrative operations; leading a process and procedure project for all departments; and establishing new product and service offerings to enhance customer experience and differentiate Rihm from the competition.

Previously vice president of Rihm Family Companies, JB has managed Rihm Kenworth’s fixed operations departments since 2017. He joined the company in 2011 and has led outside parts sales, global sales, RMC Truck Parts and more recently the entire parts and service departments.
