Rihm Family Companies Named a 2021 “Top Woman-Owned Business in Transportation”

Rihm Family Companies has been named a Top Woman-Owned Business in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT). “As women continue to increase their numbers in transportation, recognizing those who are growing their businesses and attracting the best talent is part of our mission. The Top Woman-Owned Businesses are those who embrace diversity while promoting women in leadership roles. We applaud their efforts and the success they have achieved,” says Ellen Voie, WIT Founder, President and CEO.

WIT encourages women to proactively become leaders in their organizations – and in some cases, to even start their own businesses. WIT’s Top Woman-Owned Business program recognizes businesses that set an example for future woman-owned businesses. Rihm Family Companies was recognized by WIT for its majority ownership by a woman, Kari Rihm; financial stability and growth; innovation; and entrepreneurial spirit of Kari. Since taking the reins, Kari is one of just a handful of women-owned Kenworth dealerships in the country, and she has expanded the business exponentially, paving the way for future growth. In 2022, Rihm will celebrate its 90th anniversary.
