PACCAR TX-18

Kenworth began production of the TX-18 Transmission in October 2022. 

The PACCAR TX-18 and TX-18 Pro models were designed and optimized for use with the PACCAR MX engine platform, (including the MX-13 and MX-11 engines) and represent new, industry leading automated transmission options to meet the needs of some of Kenworth’s most demanding heavy haul customers. 

With a capacity of up to 510hp, 1,850 ft-lbs. of torque, and the ability to accommodate a 140,000-pound gross combination vehicle weight (GCVW), the PACCAR TX-18 and TX-18 Pro transmissions will accommodate the heaviest loads and ensure that drivers are in control wherever their work takes them. 

The TX-18 and TX-18 Pro joins the PACCAR automated transmission lineup, including the TX-12 and TX-8 for on-highway and medium duty applications, respectively.
