Rihm Kenworth - Albert Lea had special visitors last week when the local Nitro-X camp visited the facility for a tour and up-close look at some of the trucks in our shop.

The Nitro-X camps are designed for middle or high school students and are hosted by Minnesota State Colleges and Minnesota High Schools.  Nitro-X offer students opportunities to learn about how vehicles work, build their confidence with technical skills, work in teams to develop life and employability skills, gain exposure to the auto and trucking industries and show off their skills with a race.

"We had a wonderful time this week with our Nitro-X camp at Rihm Kenworth," said Jonathan Rymer, truck driving program director/instructor at Riverland Community College.  "We really enjoyed the visit to the new Albert Lea facility.  Incredibly impressive and well-thought-out facility.  Samantha Kiker (Rihm service manager) and her team did a great job of talking about life as a diesel technician, parts department and more.  We really appreciate the efforts on this!  We’d like to thank the Rihm family for allowing our students the opportunity to visit."
