Front Frame Extension for Vocational Applications

Kenworth’s Front Frame Extension options are now available for specification for certain customer applications. This is a great vocational option to keep in mind when spec'ing your next trucks with your Rihm Kenworth truck sales rep. The T380V and T480V models are available with a 24” Front Frame Extension for use with Snow Plow or Mixer applications where the FEPTO and/or the Extended Frames are required. 

Rail extension options are ideally suited for Applications like a Vac Truck where a hose reel mount may be needed. These models are available with the PX-9 and Allison 3000 or 4000 series transmissions. For higher HP requirements, the C500 model also has Front Frame Extension options available for these types of applications offered with the X15 Engine.
